That’s why I founded Explore the Spark, a platform designed to provide kids with a wide variety of tools and resources to help them succeed in their chosen craft. From coaching and classes to online videos and books, Explore the Spark provides everything kids need to reach their full potential and develop their unique voice as an artist.

With a remarkable 20+ years of marriage and three wonderful children, Javier understands the importance of nurturing imagination and instilling a love of learning from an early age. His experiences as a husband and father enrich his writing, infusing his stories with warmth, humor, and a profound understanding of the joys and challenges of family life.
Javier's journey as an author is just one chapter in his diverse and inspiring life. As a seasoned actor with dozens of film and television appearances, including roles in hit productions like Venom and Ozark, he knows firsthand the magic of bringing stories to life on screen. His passion for performance shines through in every word, inspiring young readers to EXPLORE THE SPARK within.
In addition to his entertainment accomplishments, Javier is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in Spanish. His career as a certified teacher spans multiple states, where he has touched the lives of countless students with his enthusiasm for learning and his commitment to excellence.

Through JJ’s adventure, kids will get a peek into what it’s like to do an audition and learn new industry phrases like “casting director” or being “on set.” Most importantly, JJ’s adventure showcases the hard work and resilience required to be an actor, and that no matter how young, everyone has the power to follow their dreams.
